Getting out of debt takes much more than wishful thinking. Regardless of how you may have gotten yourself into the debt trap, you need to be smart and pro-active in climbing out of the 'debt zone. It wont happen with just prayer alone. Your debt wont go away simply because you stopped taking the calls from your creditors. You need to have a plan and you need to have a strategy. Well, I have put together what I consider to be the top 5 things you need to do to get out of debt. Follow the suggestions and you will be on your way to financial health. Ignore them and die a slow financial debt.

Tool #1) Make A Decision to Get Out Of Debt and Immediately Take Action
You need to stop making false ‘positive’ confessions. You must resolve to swallow your ego and need to show others you are okay. You must understand that Goliath will Not Go Away without a Showdown. You must take the action that is desired and God will back you up.

Tool #2) Prayer for guidance and Direction and Strength to follow through
It is perfectly alright for you to pray for direction and strength to follow through on your plan. The devil is very clever. One of the most successful demons he is fond of sending to us is the demon of weariness and discouragement.

You must pray for strength and direction to resist poverty and debt in your life. Using only your soul or intelligence to attack the problem will not work. Knowledge and native wisdom alone is not going to work ‘for we wrestle not against only flesh and blood’. You will be wise to believe that this injunction from Paul is not only against spiritual attacks of sickness.

Tool #3) You Must Understand that the Joke is on you!
Statistics show that about 20% of money earned by most people is spent on paying debt. The Bank/Lender’s Interest is not in your best interest (Periodic Rate and Annual Percentage Rate). You must recognize that there is very little Grace in the ‘Grace Period’

Deadlines are set by your creditors to make you die financially and minimum payments will keep you in Permanent Payment. The whole credit system is set up to systematically drive you into bankruptcy! You must recognize that the whole debt joke is on you and your family then take action to get out of that cadre of losers.

Tool #4) You must know the sorry state of your Financial Affairs
It is amazing how many people do not even know their net worth or the balance in their savings or checking accounts. You must know where you are financially- how much you owe and how much you are owed

It is important to write your expenses and Income on Paper to see how badly shaped you are. After seeing the whole sad story on paper, you must resolve to perform drastic surgery. Establish a spending plan and Commit yourself to a plan to prayer and fasting for deliverance!

Tool #5) You must adopt Some Debt-Buster Strategies
Debt-Buster #1: Transfer Credit Balances to a New, Lower Interest Card
Debt-Buster #2: Pay your credit card bills twice a month
Debt-Buster #3: Adopt A Pay-As-You-Go Lifestyle
Debt-Buster #4: Pay at Least twice the minimum payment on your bill
Debt-Buster #5: Convert your mortgage to a 15-year Mortgage
Debt-Buster #6: Make 13 mortgage payments every year
Debt-Buster #7: Home equity Line of credit to pay off your credit cards.
Debt-Buster #8: Cut Off your credit Cards and close accounts as they are paid off.
Debt-Buster #9: Erect Barriers Against Financial Temptations by Making It difficult to use your credit Card.
Debt-Buster #10: Work On Becoming a Business Owner while still keeping Your Day Job.

Thats is my friends. I encourage you to take ACTION TODAY. One more day of inaction will probably cost you another year in the slave market. As always, the choice is yours.

Before you can have a successful home based business, you must first possess 3 "intangibles." These are things that must come from WITHIN you.

 ===> Intangible 1 <===

First,you must have a strong WHY.

Why MUST you have a successful home business? What is driving you? What is it that you CAN'T have in your life anymore and/or what is it that you absolutely MUST HAVE now?

For me, I couldn't stand working 12+ hours a day anymore and missing the experience of my children growing up. I also absolutely HAD TO HAVE the freedom of being able to control my life and finances through a little box (laptop computer) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world and not be tied to anyone's time pressures or demands but my own. That was my carrot and my stick. I felt a great pain deep in my gut of missing out on my children's lives and the incredible freedom that succeeding in a home based business would provide for me. I found my why. You MUST find yours.

You must BELIEVE that it is possible.

If you don't believe that it's POSSIBLE for you to have a successful home based business or make your living from home, you won't. It's that simple.

For me, figuring out that it was possible was just a matter of realizing that many other people were ALREADY making great money working from home. If they could do it, I could too. It would just be a matter of figuring out what those people were doing and then adapting it to my situation.

There is no shortage of undeniable PROOF that people (millions of them) are making money working from home. Just get online and do some research and you'll find countless testimonials and stories of REAL PEOPLE making real money on the Internet. Or head to your local bookstore and you'll find the same documented evidence of this fact. Truth is, it's getting easier and easier to make money with your own home based business.

I've always said that "affiliate marketing" (a simple way to make money from home) is the job of the future. In the old days, you had to go to a potential employer, apply for the position and hope for the best. Now you can simply go to any company you want, fill out their affiliate application and start work immediately. Affiliates are the new working class. In fact, making money with affiliate programs or making your living on the Internet is WAY MORE than possible. It is pretty much (or will be soon enough) unavoidable now. Affiliate marketing is the "job" of the future that's already here TODAY.

You must be willing to MAKE THE LEAP.

Ready, FIRE, then aim... This is the operating philosophy you MUST adopt to succeed with a home based business.

That's backwards for most people who like to aim before they fire. The fact is that home based business success is a moving target... The only thing constant about it is change. You need to stop analyzing the game and simply jump into it. You can't learn from the outside... You have to be *IN THE RING* to truly understand and profit from it. In fact, this is a business where you can truly be earning WHILE you're still learning...

The lesson here is that you will never really be READY to start a home based business. You simply have to start one. It's like having children... You're never really ready, but when it happens you adapt and grow and therefore you succeed. This is what I call: "Making the Leap"!

In the "brick and mortar" world you need to evaluate things very carefully before you decide to open up a business.
